Description

An elegant pike jerkbait – hand-painted in metallic tones

The Venom – Immortal model is a handmade jerkbait with a classic silver finish and red accent, inspired by the natural appearance of prey fish. Subtle metallic scales, a dark back and delicate red spots make the lure look exceptionally realistic and attract predators, even on heavily fished waters.

Key features:
– Handmade – each lure is painted and varnished individually
– Natural colours with red details (Immortal finish)
– A body resistant to damage and powerful strikes
– Sharp treble hooks and sturdy split rings – ready for pike and muskie
– Glidebait – wide, unpredictable movements

Who is it for?
For anglers who value aesthetics, an understated finish and reliable performance. Recommended for pike anglers and collectors of hand-painted jerkbaits.

Shipping and quality:
Every lure is made in Poland in the Jurassic Lures workshop. Handmade with attention to detail: a tool for the discerning angler rather than a mass-produced item.

Frequently asked questions

In what conditions should I fish Venom Immortal?

Immortal has silver sides with a scale pattern, a dark back and red details. It is worth starting with in clear water where pike hunt roach, bleak or other silvery fish. Try it around shoals of baitfish and on drop-offs beside aquatic vegetation.

Is Immortal worth taking to clear lakes in Sweden and Finland?

Yes, as one of your silvery lures for daytime fishing. It is also worth having for similar lakes in Masuria, Lithuania and Latvia. If you find a darker-stained or murky bay, compare it with Golden Fury or Original rather than using one colour for the whole trip.

How does Immortal differ from Dirty Roach?

Immortal has a silver finish with red details and spots. Dirty Roach is based on roach and has silver holographic foil that gives strong flashes. It is worth comparing both colours in clear water, especially when pike follow one of them without striking.

Do the red spots on Immortal mean it imitates an injured fish?

They are part of the colour pattern that sets the lure apart from plain silver. There is no need to assume that a pike will see them as a wound. In practice, you are trying the combination of silver sides, a dark back and red accents with Venom's sideways action.

How should I retrieve Immortal on a heavily fished lake?

Cast from a distance that lets you work the area in front of the bank or boat without rushing. Start with short glides and pauses along the vegetation edge. If a pike only follows the lure, compare a slower retrieve with a short burst of speed. A natural colour alone cannot replace the right speed and depth.

What is Venom, and where is it worth using for pike?

Venom is a lipless glider jerkbait that slides from side to side on the retrieve. Use it along reed edges, in gaps between aquatic vegetation, over underwater humps and along drop-offs near shallow water. You can take it to Masuria, Swedish lakes and coastal skerries, Finland or Dutch canals. Choose the size and colour to suit the conditions where you fish.

Which Venom size should I choose: 12, 15 or 20 cm?

Venom 12 cm weighs 37 g and is slow sinking. Choose it when you want to offer pike a smaller lure or fish above shallow aquatic vegetation. The 15 cm version weighs 80 g, also sinks slowly and is a good starting point for lake fishing. Venom 20 cm weighs 170 g and is sinking. It is worth trying when pike are hunting large fish, such as sizeable roach, bream or herring, or when you need to get the lure deeper. For this version, you need tackle suited to its weight.

How should I retrieve Venom when pike are reluctant to bite?

Start with short twitches and pauses. After each movement, take up excess line but leave the lure free to glide to the side. You can also work it with short bursts of speed on the reel. In cold water, try a slower retrieve. If a pike follows Venom without striking, change the rhythm or pause length on the next cast. Keep checking that the sinking lure does not drop into the vegetation or below the fish.

Which Venom colours should I take on a trip to Sweden or Finland?

For the Swedish coastal skerries, take Fluo Yellow and Blue Mackerel — both colours work very well on these waters. It is also worth bringing Gaspar Tail Bait 7 cm so you can offer pike a smaller lure with an active tail. For clear lakes in Sweden and Finland with roach and other silvery fish, take Dirty Roach or Immortal. Add Brown Trout if pike there hunt trout. Water clarity varies across Scandinavia, so bring several different colours.

How should I choose a Venom colour for Masuria, Lithuania, Latvia and the Netherlands?

First look at the water and the fish living in it. On clear lakes, start with Dirty Roach, Immortal or Old Gold. In slightly brown-stained or greenish water, compare the gold of Golden Fury with the contrasting Buster. In murky canals and bays, try Original, Fluo Yellow or Pink Pie. The same rule is useful on Rügen: choose the colour to suit visibility and what the pike eat, rather than just the name of the destination.
