GlideX

GlideX has a strong, pronounced sideways action similar to Venom. Its wide body creates a distinct silhouette, while the tail adds movement and an extra stimulus for pike.

The body action resembles Venom, but GlideX has the added advantage of a tail. It combines strong sideways glides with tail movement, offering a different presentation from a glider body alone.

The tail complements the action of the wide body and adds movement to the overall presentation. It is an extra element to try when you want to show pike something different from a conventional tailless glider.

Start with short rod twitches interspersed with pauses. Watch how the lure responds and adjust the strength of your movements to stay in control of its powerful action. There is no need to jerk as hard as possible from the start: first find a rhythm that gives GlideX a clear, controlled action.

Try it when you want a lure with a wide silhouette, strong action and additional tail movement. It is also an option for anglers who like Venom's action and want to test a different presentation on their waters.

Try changing the retrieve speed, pause length or strength of the twitches. Change one element at a time and watch the fish's response. This makes it easier to see whether the pike responds better to a calmer presentation or a more dynamic action.
